Rafael I. Rodríguez-NevaresRafael I. Rodríguez-Nevares joined Ferraiuoli LLC as Labor and Employment Counsel in January 2014. Mr. Rodríguez-Nevares brings a strong background and extensive experience representing management through all phases of employment litigation before administrative, as well as judicial forums. The scope of his work covers the broad spectrum of employment-related matters, whether it is defending employers from extrajudicial claims, in complex litigation or crafting and recommending courses of action to prevent disputes. Some of the areas Mr. Rodríguez-Nevares handles cover employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, statutory leaves of absence, retaliation, defamation, wage and hours and other employment-related torts, to name a few.

He has experience counseling on employment matters, best practices and compliance to a clientele from diverse industries, such as pharmaceutical, retail, advertising, and hospitality, among others. He has provided guidance to such corporate clients in the preparation and revision of employment agreements and policies, personnel training, commencement of operations, reductions in force, WARN Act matters and other mergers and acquisitions related issues.

His practice also includes representing and assisting employers in work-related immigration petitions.
Mr. Rodríguez-Nevares has also been a distinguished speaker at various seminars to clients and professional organizations addressing a wide array of topics, including new trends in employment.
Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Mr. Rodríguez-Nevares worked as an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group of McConnell Valdés LLC, from October 2004 to June 2013.
